Sad day for Town as the defeat now means we are relegated. With Frimley Green winning that was the last straw for us. In addition we lost our goalkeeper when he was sent off at half-time so we played the whole second half with ten men.

Town were facing the daunting prospect of taking on a Hamworthy Rec side who are league leaders and champions elect. They have had a fantastic season to date, played 32, won 29, drawn 3 and zero defeats. With their level of ability they will trouble many teams in the Premier League next season. After going fifteen matches without a win, Town finally got a much needed victory thanks to Jake Partan 23rd minute goal. Oliver bailey playing his first match for Town contributed to the goal having his shot parried by the visitors keeper for Jake to slot home. So a good win and a clean sheet. Town now go into the next match when league leaders are the visitors to the Portway on 6 April 2024.
