Mohammed Al Kandari
Owner and Chief Executive
Mohammed Al Kandari is the Owner and Chief Executive of Andover Town Football Club.
He took over the Club in 2026. The transfer was announced on 28 August 2026, bringing to an end the years in which Sparsholt College looked after Andover Town, from the Club's formation in 2013. As part of the move, Proleague Limited took a 25-year lease on Portway Stadium from Test Valley Borough Council.
Mohammed runs the Club day to day. Andover Town keeps its name and its identity, and continues to play at Portway.
What comes next
The takeover is an investment in Andover Town. Andover is a town with a lot of young footballing talent, and its club should be the leading club in the area. The ambition is to take Town up the divisions and build a club the town is proud of.
Andover Town will work in partnership with Salisbury FC. The two clubs will share scouting and coaching resources, giving young players a clear route into senior football and minutes at a good level.
At Portway, the plan is to improve the facilities, including looking at an all-weather 3G pitch that would open the ground to the community during the week.
