For the first time Denmead were the visitors to Portway and despite their relatively low league position they have been consistently close to winning many of their recent matches. A sunny, warm autumn afternoon and the pitch looked in absolutely perfect condition.

Bishops Waltham Dynamos 2–3 Andover Town

Town were away again this afternoon and again on a plastic pitch against Bishops Waltham Dynamos who thrashed us 6–0 in early August. Portway may seem like a distant memory since its now the 3rd away match in a row. So Andover were looking to extend their winning run and get some kind of retribution after their last match against the home side.

Hedge End Rangers 1–3 Andover Town

On Friday evening Andover travelled down to Botley to play Hedge End Rangers under lights on a very impressive ground with a 3G pitch at The Deer Park school complex. A sizeable crowd in attendance and a warm autumn evening with perfect playing conditions. Hedge End have started the season well and are currently 4th in the table so it promised to be a good test for Town.

Liss Athletic 3–4 Andover Town

Another new venue for Town today for the trip to Liss who were actually in the Wessex league until a few years ago. A warm and sunny autumn afternoon on a very attractive tree-lined pitch which looked to have an excellent playing surface. Town wore their second all white strip since Liss play in all blue.
