Town were away to Whitehill & Bordon this afternoon in an absolutely must win match if they are to have any hope of still gaining promotion. A very picturesque stadium and well appointed and unusually for the Hampshire Premier League with floodlights.

Because of M3 closures Town faced a difficult journey away to Hook on a fixture which was re-arranged to a 3G pitch in Odiham. Trying to avoid an old football cliche this was indeed a six pointer since both teams were neck and neck in the chase for promotion to the Wessex League.

Town were away at Liss this afternoon in the semi-final of the George Mason Shield. Town have won once and lost once this season to Liss who are pushing hard for promotion just behind Andover in the league with 2 matches in hand. So a tough match in prospect.

Town travelled down to Southsea to face Harvest FC at the University of Portsmouth sports ground. And even before kick-off there was the first of an increasingly bizarre set of decisions by the referee Mark Pointing who deemed the pitch unplayable because of Canada Geese droppings on the playing surface. Warm spring sunshine greeted visitors Hedge Edge Rangers who started the game in the top four of the league. Town beat their opponents on their patch back in September and were hoping to extend their winning run at the Portway today.

Paulsgrove 0–3 Andover Town

Town travelled down the M27 today to Cosham to play Paulsgrove at the very impressive Hampshire FA football hub which was built last year at a cost of £8 million, featuring a couple of 3G pitches, new changing rooms, bar and restaurant. Andover were hoping to complete the double today having beaten Paulsgrove on a very hot August afternoon in the first match of this season.
