Paulsgrove 0–3 Andover Town

Town travelled down the M27 today to Cosham to play Paulsgrove at the very impressive Hampshire FA football hub which was built last year at a cost of £8 million, featuring a couple of 3G pitches, new changing rooms, bar and restaurant. Andover were hoping to complete the double today having beaten Paulsgrove on a very hot August afternoon in the first match of this season.

Andover Town 10–0 QK Southampton

Town recorded their second largest win beating QK Southampton 10–0 to progress into the semi-final of the George Mason memorial Shield where they meet Liss Athletic.

Portsmouth based Meon Milton were first time visitors to Portway this afternoon with Town hoping to get back on winning ways and complete the double over Meon after their victory in the away match in August.

Andover Town 0–1 Liss Athletic

Anxious to get back to winning ways Town welcomed Liss Athletic to the Portway on a cold but dry afternoon. Ryan Morgans returned to the starting line-up after a two week absence and it was really good to see former skipper Brendan Holmes starting since his present club Dorchester Town were without a match today.

Andover Town 1–3 Colden Common

Town welcomed the arrival of league leaders Colden Common to the Portway. The visitors have already got a nine point lead at the top of the table and although Town have got a couple of games in hand it’s important that they do their utmost to win this afternoon. The pitch looked pretty heavy after the recent rainfall and Town were again without their talisman Ryan Morgans.

Headley United 3–1 Andover Town

After two postponements because of frozen pitches Town made the relatively long journey down to Headley near Bordon in the 4th round of the Hampshire Saturday Trophy. Predicting cup results is never easy but on paper Andover should progress in this competition since Headley are near the foot of Hampshire County League Division 1 which is one step lower than the Hampshire Premier.
