Moneyfields Reserves 3–1 Andover Town

"After a Friday night in which I nearly burnt the kitchen down and a Saturday morning when a self service checkout was nearly turned into razor blades , it was time to enjoy an afternoon out in the sunshine down at Moneyfields. Arrived about 50 mins before kick off so grabbed one of the best coffees in the league then proceeded to wander where we were warming up. With it been holiday season it seamed half the team had been turned over, a nice shock late in the warm up the addition of Owen Trapnell. Also good to see Chris Redshaw working with the sub keeper. The teams came out to a further surprise in the form of Deano maybe the old heads don't need warming up? With the wind behind us and the the sun at our backs Andover soon found ourselves 1 nil down we huffed and puffed but never seamed to get going . With an attack down the left the ball came across the goal we found ourselves 2 nil down. Around the half hour mark keeper Chris gave the ball a good hoof one head and Luke found himself chasing the ball down to smash the ball in the over the on coming keeper. 2-1 the crowd went wild we could do this. Half-time came. Into the second half in no time found us 3-1 down now the battle was on a period of nothing happened football was followed by a 20 minute spell where Andover carved out several chances for Luke Holden and Jacob Burrows, Jacob Burrows having a vicious drive saved by the keeper. Nod to L00000000000ogan Cook swinging some lovely corners in. After that spell we were all out. Final score a 3-1 defeat. Still hope see you next week."
