Alresford Town 0–2 Andover Town

For the last game of the season Andover Town travelled to Arlebury Park to face Alresford Town, hoping to complete the double over The Magpies. Andover Town made 3 changes from the side that narrowly lost to Moneyfields with Liam Hibberd, Santafe-Vivo, and Aaron Nesbeth returning to the side in place of Jack Nicholls, Craig Blakeman and Victor Guiterrez.

Alresford made the early running when they forced three consecutive corners. Andover Town responded with a shot from Santafe-Vivo that went wide and soon after Reece Rusher's shot from outside the box was pushed round the post by Daniel Kempson. Alresford continued to press forcing several corners but they could not breach the Andover Town defence. Just before halftime a cross from Reece Rusher was headed in to his own net by Aaron Bloxhall to give Andover Town the lead.

Andover went into the half time break 1-0 in front.

The second half began and Alresford had several chances to equalise and hit the post on two occasions but they couldn't find a way past a determined Andover Town defence. Andover also had chances to extend their lead but shots from Nesbeth, Dockree and Glasspool were just wide. However, in the 85th Minute Andover extended their lead when Reece Rusher was put through on goal and he took the ball wide of the keeper and slotted it home. Deep into Injury time Lloyd Thomas tipped a shot onto the crossbar and over for a corner. At the final whistle Andover Town completed the double over Alresford Town and finished in 13th Place in the table. Andover Town also kept their record of never having lost to Alresford Town. This was also Andover Town’s first clean sheet for 17 games.
